Short Rant: The God Concept

It is a conversation about the Concept of God, the name of God, the word ‘God’. These are my thoughts, and they are expressed completely from my perspective ** First, I want to officially say that I hate that word. I hate the word God ‘cuz I am sick and tired of hearing it. Most of all, I am tired of us, the people, finding new definitions for it, so we can keep it in our vocabulary. Our attempt at rebranding and modernizing this old archetype aches me. Especially an archetype that has its purpose in perpetuating oppression and superiority complex. God. The old white white-bearded man in the sky, the one that has rules, that you must follow. The rules that if you break, give you a one-way ticket to hell. That is God, to me, the only one. The original one, the one that actually owns that name, that title. Sharon McCutch
